Mary Sidney Herbert was an English poet that had an important role for literature during the Age of Spenser. She is well known for a project about her verse translation of biblical psalms that was created with her brother and after his death she completed. Some of the main characteristics that her poems have is a strong emotional tone and a personal tone as well. Sidney's poems influenced Queen Elizabeth’s poetries. She married with thirteen years old and was involved in an affair.
