Anne Bradstreet’s short Biography:
Anne Bradstreet it was a really important poet due to the fact that she was one of the first authors to write English poems in the America. Bradstreet was born in England and moved to America with her family, husband which she married at sixteen and a group of Puritan. She wrote most of her poems during her time in America and without her knowledge her brother in law published her poems in England. One of her main influences to write her poems was the 16th century. Bradstreet had eight children with her husband.

Contemplations is a touching and emotional poem focus on Anne Bradstreet’s points of view regarding her thoughts and imaginations about how is heaven and on the beauty of nature. In order to appreciate the beauty of nature, she makes it clear how enjoyable it is to hear the sound of nature creatures, such as, the grasshopper and the crickets. Bradstreet praise The Lord trough those creature sounds. She also makes it clear that humans don’t have the same gift with music as natural creatures. The poetry explores the age when she was having many health difficulties while moving to America. One of the most important things that we can notes on the poem is that she emphasizes on the awful things that happen on earth and this is connected with God.
